Well, I have put them all in one convenient new page for you all, with links back to the original posts too.
So if you like it, save it, share it, but please give credit where it is due.

You may notice the big purple button...

Over that way...

Bargain Hunting

I love a good bargain.
When I see sales starting my curiosity gets the better of me.
I don't always buy though, I am terribly practical.
99% of the time....

I got an email last night from one of my favourite clothing stores.
40% off everything sale.
I had to have a look.....

I browsed...

I found the bargains...

$3 dresses, $3 tops...

I thought to myself, should I?

I went to login and realized I had no idea what my password was.
I sent off the 'forgot password' email and remembered I had kept another email from them.
It was a $10 off any order coupon that I received on my birthday for being a member.
Woohoo!

So in the end I snapped up a few bargains...
At a total of (including shipping) $23.97.

I can't wait to get my hands on these!
If anyone is interested, the website is here CROSSROADS.

Perfect Fit Pajama Pants {TUTORIAL}

My pajama pants were getting old.
They were well worn, faded and thinning.
After their latest spin in the washing machine, they were injured.
A bit tear down the back.
Oh dear.
It's Winter, too cold for my other thin 3/4 length pajama pants.
A while ago I made these pants for my hubby...

And these ones for my little guy...

I used up all of that lovely flanelette fabric but had to buy more next time I was in that store.
It was going to be for ME!
Of course other sewing projects got in the way, until the day my old pj pants finally fell apart.
I whipped up a new pair (which I LOVE!) and did a quick basic tutorial.
You may notice I have sewn them a little different to the 'regular' method.
I find this way I get enough room in the rear and they are a much better fit.
So please excuse my crappy drawing skills, and my hurried explanation, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to comment or email me.

If you don't have old pants to chop up, trace around a pair you have that fit nicely. Trace around the front half of the leg and the back half separate though!

Family Life

I always knew I wanted to be a young mum.
I always knew I wanted to settle down and start a family.
I wasn't one of those people who wanted to travel the world for years, or throw myself into and exhausting career that I would eventually despise.
I wanted a family.
I guess you could call me old fashioned, I didn't care about the housewife title, it was all I wanted.

The way things worked out...
Well, I got exactly what I had hoped for.
I married my darling husband when I was 21, and had my first baby the next year, just weeks before my 22nd birthday.
It was tough, nothing like I had imagined, but so much more than I had dreamed.
When our little man came along almost two years later, I felt complete.
I have my family.
We are an odd bunch, but we are fun and full of love.
We don't stand and watch our kids play at the park, we join in.

We encourage their creativity...

Even if it is a bit messy!

We let them sleep in mummy & daddy's bed if they wake up scared...

We encourage them to play games together, to form a loving brother & sister bond...

We let them have special treats...

Even if it means boundless energy afterwards (that's what the parks are for!).

We are silly...

We tickle...

 We pull silly faces...

And we dress up...

And all this fun leaves me exhausted by the end of every day...

But happy.
So happy.
